10 Wearable fall/winter trends from Fashion Week 2015

With fall arriving, I share some of the wearable fall trends from the ramp.

1. Car wash pleats

For those who are new to this particular term. Car wash skirts/dresses are the skirts/dresses with multi slits that look like the scrubber found inside the car wash. It might not sound flattering but looks chic and tease at the same time.

It was settled to be THE trend this fall when designers like Oscar de la Renta, Christian Dior, Tommy Hilfiger and Angelo Marani presented their take on the ramp. It can be easily dressed up or down with the choice of pairing.

2. Faux fur, not style

It will keep you warm and make you look stylish at the same time. What else do you want this fall? Accessorize with a faux fur stole.

3. Flare and dazzle

Flared pants are back. Elongate your legs by pairing these with the right shoe.

4. Make a statement

If you are someone who doesn’t like to experiment much with their wardrobe, you can easily join the parade and make a statement by wearing chunky earring.

5. Go electric

This one is my favorite. Neon came back but this time pair it with neutral colors like grey, black or camel.

6. Knitted sweaters

These are super comfortable. Feel free to opt for a fitted one or cuddle up in an over sized sweater. Pair it with a complementing silhouette on bottom.

7. Black out

When in doubt go black. Need I say more? Go all black this fall.

8. Hosiery

Stockings are a must have in every woman’s closet. Experiment with colors and patterns this year.

9. Turtleneck

Wear it under a dress and feel the warmth.

10. Go cream.

Who said fall is all about the ‘fall’ colored clothes?  Go cream this fall.

That's all for now.
Soon.
